Jeanneau Sun Legende 41

General
Inside, the boat looks like it is only 10 years old.
The varnishing is in very good condition. No visible interior “improvements” have been made by us or previous owners (2). All the original linings of walls and ceilings have been renewed by the previous owner, so no hanging or smelly linings. Eberspacher diesel heating installed (hotwatersystem) with radiator in the rear-cabin and thermostat controlled fans in the toilet, kitchen, saloon and fore-cabin. Because the hot waterlines run underneath the cabin floor, it also means walking on your socks in the boat in wintertime! It even has multiple timers so you don’t have to get out of bed in the morning.
The outside of the boat is like the inside, in very good condition. All deck hatches have been replaced in 2011. The teak deck is in good condition. Gelcoat of the hull and deck are in good condition. No leaking windows or deck-hull connections. This is our first dry and quiet boat! No leaks and no squeeking interiour while sailing at sea. The deck is spacious to walk on without any trip hazards. All lines and blocks are accessible, so easy cleaning and maintenance.
Saloon
LED spots in the saloon (with warm color). Large folding table. One side can be lowered to make a double bed. Lee-cloth for the starboard couch. Easy to pull up safety netting behind the couches for safety in rough weather at sea. All locker lids have straps or latches to keep them closed in case of rolling the boat. All storage compartments are nicely finished so can be used to store anything. 12V connection in the saloon.
Kitchen
Spacious kitchen with plenty of stowage. Large 200L fridge with watercooled compressor (SP unit isotemp, 2012). Isotemp 40L boiler heated by engine and 220V. Hot water in toilet and kitchen when the boiler is in use. 2 burner stove with oven. Above the stove there is an extractor hood like in your kitchen at home! Cabinet underneath the double sink is neatly finished with lots of additional stowage. Waterfilter installed for good drinking water quality. New waterpump (2012). Foot pump for salt water. New ball-valves and waterhoses. LED lights in kitchen. The main kitchen light can be changed into any color (so also red for night sailing). 12V and 220V (inverter pure sine 800W) connection in the kitchen.
Bathroom
All new ball-valves and hoses for sink and toilet. Toilet fitted with new seal-kit. LED lights including a red light for night sailing. Shower-curtain for a nice shower inside. Plenty of stowage in this spacious bathroom. Insides of cabinets nicely finished so useable for everything. Hull inside the cabinet is lined with cork to insulate, so no wet contents. New bilgepump to drain the shower. 12V connection in the bathroom.
Sleeping cabins
Inside the front sleeping cabin is a large wet-cell without toilet (never been installed, owners version). This is extremely usefull for storage of large items, sailing clothes, etc. The cabin soles are lined with comfortable carpet (new, 2012). A large double bed with lots of stowage underneath. At the moment fitted with a removable backwards facing lee-cloth to keep our baby boy in the bed. Ventilation by the three hatches and the two Goiot mushroom ventilators (all new 2011). Heating of this cabin is controlled by a separate thermostat unit. Full LED lighting in the cabin.
The rear cabin has a wide double bed. It has two opening portholes and one opening deck hatch (new 2011) for ventilation. Also here only LED lights to save power. Underneath the mattress (new 2011) are plastic spring disks for more comfort and 100% ventilation (new 2011). 220V connection in the bedroom (Victron pure sine inverter 300W).
